Tales
I’m back! My dears, I have really missed you. I didn’t mean to fall so deeply into the end-of-term hole, but there were some factors: final papers, final grading, the minor plague I caught, collection of outfits that didn’t even really deserve to see the light of day, let alone the light of blog. But here I am, returned to the fold! The next two weeks, El Boyfriend and I will be traveling to see my moms, his parents and siblings, and then home, so I won’t lie: I might be posting as often as usual, but I am back. For reals.
So in honor of my return and the fun of the season, I’m gladly wearing sparkles for the December Everybody, Everywear! I love sequins and all things that sparkle, but I try to avoid looking like a disco ball, especially on campus. There’s something about the dreary halls of academia that make sparkles seem more than a little garish. So this outfit is my middle ground, my nod to the sparkling without turning the lights on too high. Silver glitter, sequins, and faded blues work well for me in the winter!
Okay, my darlings, I’ll call it a day for now. But I’m glad to be back and glad to be. Expect some fun stuff soon: some cool new features, some fun DIYs for the holidays, and some new faces and places for the next month.

Absolutely love your sweater and top. Perfect for the jeans. Casual look, but chic too. Happy New Year!
